Daily Affirmation: June 14th

The power of purpose is stronger than anything.

Today will be a day of change across this country. People are rising in peace, in every state and across the world. We must remember to come in peace, to stand in peace, and not fall for the distraction of escalation. There is far more power in calm, united presence than in chaos.

Across the globe, people are standing up against lies, hatred, the destruction of human rights, and the rise of fascism. It’s about the U.S., yes, but the world is watching. The world is rising in solidarity.

Today, I choose to rise. Not only for myself, but for those who are too afraid to speak. For those lost in a web of lies and can’t yet see the truth. For those who are living life like normal and believe this will all just work out in the end, because it won’t. Not without action. Not without us.

The power of purpose is stronger than anything, and we are the strength behind that power. There’s an undercurrent moving through humanity right now, one that’s calling us to remember who we are and who we could be. We must come together and let those threads of purpose and truth weave something new. Something better.

This morning, as I reached for my coffee, I noticed the words on my mug: “Believe there is good in the world.” – Theo G. Soares. And I do. I believe there is good. I believe we are the good. But belief alone isn’t enough. We must become that good in action, in presence, in purpose.

No matter where you stand politically, spiritually, or personally, release the narrative you’ve been told. Drop the shield. Step above the wall that’s been built around you. See each other. Really see each other.

And rise together. United.
